Mike likes the disorderly look of much of the Sierra forests, fallen tree trunks and branches entangled. Also the extensive areas of lodgepole pine cones crunching underfoot, very photogenic.

Well . . . not really. I've already archived my backpacking photos onto an external hard drive, so individual photo data is not readily available.
However, I can say that I used an Olympus E-PL5 and an Olympus 12-50mm lens.
